Why sponsor the Summit?

Senior access: the IPRA Summit is a unique opportunity to reach a high concentration of the most influential individuals in global PR. The event is targeted and marketed specifically at this top segment of the industry. Last year, more than 90% of delegates were senior directors or vice-presidents for PR and communications. As a sponsor, you would be reaching out directly to high-level decision-makers.

Market reach: the IPRA Summit is the only truly global forum for PR professionals. Last year, the Summit attracted more than 160 senior communications and PR professionals from almost 50 countries. As a sponsor, you would engage with organisations from public, private and NGO sectors in an unparalleled global range of countries and industries.

Brand excellence: the IPRA Summit is a chance to align your brand with forward-looking excellence in global communications.

What can I sponsor?

Summit sponsorship packages

You can take one of the Summit’s four sponsorship packages. These include full advance exposure on printed and electronic marketing and advertising materials and varying degrees of branding at the Summit. In addition, each package offers brand alignment with a particular aspect of the Summit, such as interactive technology or corporate responsibility.

Special event sponsorship

You can sponsor an event at the summit. This includes full advance exposure on printed and electronic marketing and advertising, limited branding at the Summit itself (e.g. logo on conference folders and badges, but not stage panels). The sponsored event itself would present additional opportunities, such as to make a speech before lunch, or lead a round-table discussion. Alternatively, you can put up an exhibition stand.

Sponsorship of Summit materials

If you don’t want full advance exposure or the presence of a headline or event sponsor, you can brand conference materials such as delegate conference wallets, pens or notepads, or insert your own magazines, brochures, leaflets, CDs or branded giveaways into delegate packs.

Golden World Awards

The IPRA Golden World Awards are also open for sponsorship.

The GWAs showcase the very best from the global public relations industry. Each year more than 350 entries are received from countries around the world for the 25 prestigious awards. Winners are chosen for each category, and from among them, there is one global winner – the “Grand Prix”. There is also a special award given by the United Nations for excellence in public relations on priority issues such as the environment, health, education and poverty reduction.

Benefits of GWA sponsorship

Sponsors can choose a category that reflects excellence in a targeted field that is relevant to their own business or communications goals. As a sponsor, your brand would become part of the global promotion of the competition and the awards leading up to the gala dinner. By choosing a category that fits your organisation’s expertise, you may create added value through your own publicity among clients and peers.

Brand recognition

Your company logo will be included in all marketing materials for the Golden World Awards; this includes the GWA awards ceremony tickets, GWA brochure at the awards dinner and on the GWA signage at the awards ceremony.

Industry leader

A representative from your company or organisation may present your award to the category winner at the prestigious Golden World Awards dinner and give a brief presentation speech.
